At Bicyclette, we are all about inspiring women to get out and ride – their cruiser bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, tandems – whatever they like best. We of course loved to see all the bike elements associated with your brand. What inspired you to use bikes as part of your brand identity?
Active lifestyles are common in the Phoenix area. People love hiking, biking, running and swimming. It’s a great city for all these activities. Chestnut Fine Foods & Provisions supports that active lifestyle with delicious, health-conscious options for those on the run. By incorporating the bicycling community we’re supporting that active healthy lifestyle that is so essential to life in Arcadia, and Phoenix in general.
Where are your favorite places to ride?
I’ve always been a road biker (triathlons) so north Phoenix near Desert Ridge is a great area to ride because there are a lot of flat areas but also some hilly ones once you get up into the mountainous neighborhoods. Now that I’m a mom and my daughter is triking around faster and faster these days, I’d love to get a cruiser bike and coast around old town and the neighborhoods nearby.
What advice would you give to women starting up a new business?
Things may seem tough or even impossible and the obstacles may seem incredibly large and insurmountable, but never give up and never let anything hold you back.
I personally do everything I do for my daughter and future children. They are not a hindrance, they are my motivation!
